Coming from Südwinsen, the route takes you along the Aller cycle path directly past the Hornbosteler Hutweide nature reserve. Here you can take a break and get to know the cultural landscape created by agriculture.
Stately old oaks, small forests, meadows, pastures and heather give the Hornbosteler Hutweide its unique character.
In the "German Petroleum Museum" in Wietze you will gain impressions of the development of oil extraction.
A restored cobblestone trade route takes you to the "forest forge". Bog iron ore used to be smelted here. The baroque Stechinelli chapel in Wieckenberg, district of Wietze, invites you to visit.
