The Heidjer houses are equipped with electric heating and electricity and are therefore suitable for all seasons. For those who would like to have a more comfortable stay, our chalets are just the right thing for your well-being. We source almost all of our ingredients from the region. For example, our delicious curry sausage comes from the butcher Zimmermann around the corner. Some spices don't grow on our doorstep, of course, but whenever possible we use regional and organic products. And you can taste that! Our food truck is powered exclusively by electricity from renewable sources and is therefore also part of the sustainable concept of our camping park. We serve our food on eatable or sustainable tableware. If you want to support us in saving resources, you are of course welcome to bring your own recyclable containers for your order. Swimming holidays - as a special extra, guests at the Suedheide campsite can enjoy a modern swimming pond. BOOK NOW CHECK AVAILABILITY BLOG Enjoyable swimming for the whole family in our refreshing natural swimming lake As a special extra, guests at the Campingpark Südheide can enjoy a modern swimming pond. We do not offer public bathing activities, for this purpose a public swimming pool is offered by the municipality of Winsen. The water treatment makes this pool special. We do not use any chemicals or chlorine. The water is treated naturally in line with the latest standards. A balanced system with special gravel substrates, special plant filters and modern pump technology guarantees a very good water quality with high standards of hygiene. Our swimming lake combines various characteristics, which offer clean and clear water without making your eyes burn, with all the convenience you know from ordinary swimming pools. The water depth in the swimmer's area is 1.35 m, and the swimming area is 21.0 m long, which makes it suitable for sports swimmers, too. Along the bank there are several separately planted areas. Here with a bit of luck you might also spot some interesting plants and wildlife, with colourful dragonflies or wonderful flowers and seed heads, and occasionally an amphibian finds refuge and a habitat at the edge of the pond. This close to nature facility with its high recreation and experience value harmoniously integrates itself into the camping park and the charming scenery. Bathing rules Please take note that you bath at your own risk, there is no bathing supervision. In order to guarantee bathing quality, there are following rules: Children only accompanied by their parents! Please have a shower before bathing! The consumption of food is not allowed! Objects made of glass are forbidden! Smoking is not permitted! Bicycles are unwanted in the swimming area! Dogs are not allowed! Do not enter the regeneration area and bank zone! Do not bath with infectious diseases, wounds or rashes! Access to the swimming pool only by pool ladder! Babies have to wear bathing trunks or swim nappies! There is danger of slipping on wet boardwalks and stones! Boardwalks may only be entered barefoot! Please dispose of your waste in the waste containers! The reservation of the loungers is allowed for a maximum of 30 minutes! Note The water is not cleaned with disinfectants, but via natural regeneration areas and plant filters. Because of no disinfection of the bathing water, an increased risk for human health caused by pathogens can not be excluded. This risk increases with the increase of bathing activity.

Our campsite is situated in the heart of nature, amongst woodland and meadows and near the unhurried heathland stream Örtze. The varied scenery is typical of Lower Saxony – fens, heathland, woods and heathland streams create their own very special charm. Young and old adventurers will find what they are looking for, thanks to the wide variety of activities possible on and around our campsite. The welcoming campsite in the Luneburg Heath Cycle to the ducal city of Celle, try a carriage ride on the heath, go canoeing on the Örtze or Aller, or take a hiking tour through nature. Head off under your own steam for a day trip to the Bergen-Belsen Memorial, to the Karting Centre in Bispingen, to Soltau with its Heide-Park and the Soltau Therme thermal spa, or the federal capital Hannover. After your excursion you can stock up on energy again in our wellness oasis on the campsite with its sauna and relaxation room. In the summer you can enjoy a beach holiday at our natural swimming pond . You would like to experience the atmosphere of a camping holiday but do not own a caravan? Then enjoy your stay alternatively in our cosy chalets , which are comfortable and fully equipped like small holiday homes. Camper van drivers prefer to stay overnight on our camper van pitches, which are positioned in front of the barrier, so they can be independent of the barrier opening times. A good selection of restaurants lies within easy walking or cycling distance from the campsite. There is a mini-market at reception for bread rolls, newspapers, ice cream and other small items. Sustainably electric: With our e-charging stations with 11 kW power, you can conveniently charge your electric vehicle with us and enjoy a relaxing vacation close to nature at the same time. BOOK NOW CHECK AVAILABILITY BLOG Small holiday homes: Camping holiday in a chalet Experience the pleasure of a camping holiday in the middle of nature in comfortable accommodations with sufficient privacy. Enjoy the charm of our small holiday homes in a rural wooden look. We offer first-class, fully furnished Louisiane chalets with a floor space of 24 to 35 sqm. As required with 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms. Of course, you will also find a nice bathroom with shower, a separate toilet, a fully equipped living-kitchen area with satellite TV and a terrace with garden furniture. From the campsite you can reach a good selection of restaurants on foot or by bike. For fresh rolls, ice cream and other little things there is a minimarket at the reception, anything else you can get from nearby supermarkets. Arrival is guaranteed from 3 p.m., the departure is until 11 a.m. to allow the cleaning work can take place. We will gladly provide you with a free babyset (travel cot, changing mat and high chair) for the duration of your stay. For your four-legged companion you can get bowls and a dog bed. Beds are already made at your arrival and towels are provided for you. So you can travel without a lot of luggage and start your holiday relaxed. We take a deposit of € 50.00 for each booked object. Please note that pets are only allowed on request, because some of our accommodations are reserved for people suffering from allergies, i.e. these rooms are permanentely pet-free zones. Then you can lock the door with the key as usual. Radiator Some of our chalets are equipped with a comfortable electric heating, which is already preset for you. The remaining chalets are equipped with an equally comfortable gas central heating system, which can be operated by means of a thermostat on the radiator. Gas stove Select the control knob for the desired hob and set it to the Max. Press the control to release the gas. You can now ignite the gas flame. Press and hold the knob for 10 seconds after ignition. The flame then burns safely. Power supply Some chalets are equipped with a key switch, which is located to the right of the entrance door and can be operated with the chalet key. The refrigerator and the lighting in the entrance area work without a key. To supply power to the other rooms, set the key to position 1. When leaving the chalet, turn the key back to position 0 and remove it. Dogs Your dogs are welcome in some of our chalets! At the reception you can get dog beds and food bowls, which we will gladly provide for the duration of your stay.
