From our campingpark, this varied tour first runs eastwards and then southwards to Oldau, a town in the Hambühren municipality.
Here you can have a look at the hydroelectric power station, which is the only one in northern Germany that has largely been preserved in its original state.
An exciting explanation of how the system works can also be found on the way. Please note that the bike must be carried at the hydropower plant!
From Oldau it goes along the Aller towards Südwinsen, past pastures and fields. Switching off is particularly easy when you are surrounded by this beautiful and peaceful landscape. On the way to the campsite, we recommend a detour to the Italian ice cream parlor Benincà.
