We have invested a lot in the infrastructure of the Wifi network in recent years to provide you with the best possible internet connection. The expansion of the fibre optic network is in its final stages so that we will be able to provide our guests with enough bandwidth from the 2024 season. We currently use Starlink for our guests (up to 250 Mbps). In recent years, we have invested heavily in the infrastructure of our Wi-Fi network to provide you with the best possible internet connection. This means that you can not only relax and enjoy nature with us, but also work without any problems if you wish. Workation comfort: parking spaces with LAN connection If you want to work while on vacation and need a completely stable internet connection, you can book one of our special workation pitches (numbers 483 to 489). There you will have a direct LAN connection for maximum speed and reliability. Please make sure that you are connected to our WiFi network “Campingpark Südheide”. A WLAN symbol should appear in the top right corner of your display ᯤ . Check the bandwidth with the Speed test . If your internet connection doesn't work right away, we have summarized the most important points for you. You can find out what sources of interference there are and how you can solve WLAN connection problems here: What are the sources of interference on the campsite? The network is weather-dependent – strong wind and rain have a negative effect on the connection. Are there trees, walls or caravans in the way? You can find out exactly where the masts are located on the attached map. Are you using an outdated terminal device that does not have a good antenna and therefore a weaker transmission power? Other electronic devices such as microwaves can interfere with radio signals. What do you have to do if you don't have WiFi? Connection is best when a Wifi mast is visible in the direct vicinity. Use a Wifi repeater or extender to pick up and amplify the Wifi signal. Please do not park the caravan directly in front of a Wifi mast so as not to interfere with the Wifi. The campsite is completely occupied and every guest uses WiFi. How much bandwidth is left per user? We have not set a limit per user. So the guests get up to 50 Mbps download. However, if the entire campsite is occupied and all guests are streaming or using Wifi access at the same time, each user is automatically throttled down by our router. Therefore, we cannot say exactly how much bandwidth each user has. Campingpark Südheide – Wifi System If you still do not have Wifi connection, please contact our reception directly. Our team can then check this in the system and test it with you on site. And always remember: You will get the best rest even without internet. We wish you a wonderful holiday!

Our campsite is situated in the heart of nature, amongst woodland and meadows and near the unhurried heathland stream Örtze. The peaceful location and the new shower buildings with a children’s bathroom and rental family bathrooms offer you plenty of comfort. The varied scenery is typical of Lower Saxony – fens, heathland, woods and heathland streams create their own very special charm. Young and old adventurers will find what they are looking for, thanks to the wide variety of activities possible on and around our campsite. The welcoming campsite in the Luneburg Heath Cycle to the ducal city of Celle, try a carriage ride on the heath, go canoeing on the Örtze or Aller, or take a hiking tour through nature. Head off under your own steam for a day trip to the Bergen-Belsen Memorial, to the Karting Centre in Bispingen, to Soltau with its Heide-Park and the Soltau Therme thermal spa, or the federal capital Hannover. After your excursion you can stock up on energy again in our wellness oasis on the campsite with its sauna and relaxation room. In the summer you can enjoy a beach holiday at our natural swimming pond . You would like to experience the atmosphere of a camping holiday but do not own a caravan? Then enjoy your stay alternatively in our cosy chalets , which are comfortable and fully equipped like small holiday homes. Camper van drivers prefer to stay overnight on our camper van pitches, which are positioned in front of the barrier, so they can be independent of the barrier opening times. A good selection of restaurants lies within easy walking or cycling distance from the campsite. There is a mini-market at reception for bread rolls, newspapers, ice cream and other small items. Sustainably electric: With our e-charging stations with 11 kW power, you can conveniently charge your electric vehicle with us and enjoy a relaxing vacation close to nature at the same time. Continue to the Stechinelli Tor (the oldest monument in Winsen – an old manor from the 17th century), past the old town hall with its pillory, and then directly to the Aller bridge.
