That is why we have repeatedly invested considerable sums to improve our Wi-Fi. Despite all our efforts, we are unfortunately not yet able to provide an optimal network. Good news for all camping fans and home office workers: Our Südheide camping park now has super-fast fiber optic internet! This means that with us you can not only relax and enjoy nature, but you can also work without any problems if you want. Please make sure that you are connected to our WiFi network “Campingpark Südheide”. A WLAN symbol should appear in the top right corner of your display ᯤ . Check the bandwidth with the Speed test . If your internet connection doesn't work right away, we have summarized the most important points for you. You can find out what sources of interference there are and how you can solve WLAN connection problems here: What are the sources of interference on the campsite? The network is weather-dependent – strong wind and rain have a negative effect on the connection. Are there trees, walls or caravans in the way? You can find out exactly where the masts are located on the attached map. Are you using an outdated terminal device that does not have a good antenna and therefore a weaker transmission power? Other electronic devices such as microwaves can interfere with radio signals. What do you have to do if you don't have WiFi? Connection is best when a Wifi mast is visible in the direct vicinity. Use a Wifi repeater or extender to pick up and amplify the Wifi signal. Please do not park the caravan directly in front of a Wifi mast so as not to interfere with the Wifi. The campsite is completely occupied and every guest uses WiFi. How much bandwidth is left per user? We have not set a limit per user. So the guests get up to 50 Mbps download. However, if the entire campsite is occupied and all guests are streaming or using Wifi access at the same time, each user is automatically throttled down by our router. Therefore, we cannot say exactly how much bandwidth each user has. Campingpark Südheide – Wifi System If you still do not have Wifi connection, please contact our reception directly. Our team can then check this in the system and test it with you on site. And always remember: You will get the best rest even without internet. We wish you a wonderful holiday!

Kids can play, climb and frolic on our great playgrounds. With new made friendships they can pass daily adventures – that is fun. Next to the pirate ship you will also find a large climbing frame, football area, colorful jumping pillow, volleyball field, table football and table tennis boards. In shower building 2 you will also find a special bathroom just for you. How many frogs are jumping into the water here? Current leisure activities for children with and without supervision during the summer season are available at the reception. As the demand is quite high, please register your children in good time. The best way to travel from Campingpark Südheide to the hiking trail is by bike, otherwise the entire route would quickly expand into a day trip. The circular hiking trail initially leads north through the pine forest. Follow the signs with the middle yellow circle and the pictograms "Water and Sand". Almost the entire route runs through the forest. If you observe the surroundings closely, you will discover old sandbanks that have now been conquered by the forest. It suddenly becomes hilly and the vegetation changes every few meters. It is not uncommon to notice traces of deer crossing. With a bit of luck, some of these forest inhabitants may cross your way. The quiet landscape is a paradise for rare animal species. The surrounding area is sparsely populated and with its moors, ancient forests, quiet heathlands and vital villages, the countryside offers plenty of space for relaxation to our holidaymakers. As a recreational area and a large protected area for animals and plants – the Suedheide natural reserve is always worth a trip – holidaymakers can relax here, but can also experience a lot of action.

The small streets, the Winser post mill or the museum courtyard with a very nice café invite you to linger. Our tip: The Kalandstube – here you can enjoy homemade cakes, coffee and tea specialties. Continue to the Stechinelli Tor (the oldest monument in Winsen – an old manor from the 17th century), past the old town hall with its pillory, and then directly to the Aller bridge. From the campsite you can reach a good selection of restaurants on foot or by bike. For fresh rolls, ice cream and other little things there is a minimarket at the reception, anything else you can get from nearby supermarkets. The arrival is guaranteed on the pitches from 3 p.m., the departure is until 12.00 noon, so that the cleaning and mowing work can take place. In the "German Petroleum Museum" in Wietze you will gain impressions of the development of oil extraction. A restored cobblestone trade route takes you to the "forest forge".
