For small or large appetites, our food truck Futterluke offers a delicious selection of dishes. From our classic curry sausage with crispy fries to vegan nuggets, there is something for every taste. We source almost all of our ingredients from the region. For example, our delicious curry sausage comes from the butcher Zimmermann around the corner. Some spices don't grow on our doorstep, of course, but whenever possible we use regional and organic products. And you can taste that! Our food truck is powered exclusively by electricity from renewable sources and is therefore also part of the sustainable concept of our camping park. We serve our food on eatable or sustainable tableware. If you want to support us in saving resources, you are of course welcome to bring your own recyclable containers for your order. Our heartfelt recommendation: Try our homemade ketchup and the delicious curry sauce with tomatoes and herbs. Really delicious! We wish you bon appétit! Then you should try a canoe trip or stand-up paddling (SUP). SUP is paddling standing up on a light surfboard filled with air. Whether you are a professional or a novice – if you have never stood on a SUP board before, but would like to try it out, you can rent a stand-up paddling board during your holiday at Campingpark Südheide. This water sport is easy to learn and a perfect workout for the whole body, because on the stand-up paddleboard you train your muscles as well as your sense of balance. As soon as you have found your balance, you are ready to go. Stand-up paddling is suitable for all generations. Whether beginner or advanced, with the whole family or with friends – fun is guaranteed. If you prefer to sit in a real boat, you can paddle along the beautiful Aller River in a kayak or canoe. Canoes can also be rented during your holiday at Campingpark Südheide. A trip on the beautiful Aller is also perfect as an alternative to a bike ride at sunset. The lovingly designed jungle-themed bathroom is perfectly tailored to our youngest visitors – featuring a baby bathing area with changing facilities and a baby bathtub. A spacious country-style kitchen and a cozy play area for children add to the family-friendly atmosphere. Your four-legged friends are also well taken care of: a comfortable dog wash area with every convenience is available for their care and grooming. For relaxation, the large wellness area invites you to unwind in a classic Finnish sauna or a sanarium with milder temperatures. Infrared seats and soothing massage treatments ensure deep, full-body relaxation. In addition, the building includes a barrier-free bathroom that meets all modern standards and offers maximum comfort for all guests. Our campsite is situated in the heart of nature, amongst woodland and meadows and near the unhurried heathland stream Örtze. The peaceful location and the new shower buildings with a children’s bathroom and rental family bathrooms offer you plenty of comfort. The varied scenery is typical of Lower Saxony – fens, heathland, woods and heathland streams create their own very special charm. Young and old adventurers will find what they are looking for, thanks to the wide variety of activities possible on and around our campsite. The welcoming campsite in the Luneburg Heath Cycle to the ducal city of Celle, try a carriage ride on the heath, go canoeing on the Örtze or Aller, or take a hiking tour through nature. Head off under your own steam for a day trip to the Bergen-Belsen Memorial, to the Karting Centre in Bispingen, to Soltau with its Heide-Park and the Soltau Therme thermal spa, or the federal capital Hannover. After your excursion you can stock up on energy again in our wellness oasis on the campsite with its sauna and relaxation room. In the summer you can enjoy a beach holiday at our natural swimming pond . You would like to experience the atmosphere of a camping holiday but do not own a caravan? Then enjoy your stay alternatively in our cosy chalets , which are comfortable and fully equipped like small holiday homes. Camper van drivers prefer to stay overnight on our camper van pitches, which are positioned in front of the barrier, so they can be independent of the barrier opening times. A good selection of restaurants lies within easy walking or cycling distance from the campsite. There is a mini-market at reception for bread rolls, newspapers, ice cream and other small items. Sustainably electric: With our e-charging stations with 11 kW power, you can conveniently charge your electric vehicle with us and enjoy a relaxing vacation close to nature at the same time.
